As an SBDC Business Advisor since 2012, Kevin McVearry specializes in the restaurant and hospitality industry at all levels of operations from start-up concepts to existing businesses. Kevin has spent 25 years opening and operating restaurants, bars, and events across the country. He has relocated to the Chicagoland area but is excited about continuing to consult with California clients in all areas of business. Kevin has extensive knowledge in new venues, including design, construction, budgeting, menu development, promotions, and customer acquisition and retention. He is also experienced in recruiting, hiring, training, and coaching employees of all levels including senior management. Kevin has a B.A. in Speech Communication and Business Management from the University of Maryland, College Park.
